AchieveMax^®, Inc. Celebrates 15 Years (1995)

AchieveMax^®, Inc. is celebrating its 15th anniversary in business.  The business now know as AchieveMax^® was founded in 1980.  After 12 years as CRT Associates, Inc., we decided to change our name to more closely focus on our corporation's spirit and motivation.

With corporate "downsizing" or "rightsizing" we knew that there is an increased number of human resource professionals as entrepreneurs in the marketplace, doing business consulting, keynote presentations, and seminars.  Many of the "good" names such as "Performance," "Dynamics," and "Development" were already in existing business names.  As a result, we decided to follow a different paradigm.

Our best advice came when someone suggested to make up a name.  Gathering together a list of positive words, Jeff and Harry agreed that "Achieve" and "Maximum" would fit our image of positive business realities.

The actual business name wasn't created until Jeff was driving to a consulting meeting with a client one day.

"The word AchieveMax merged as I merged onto the interstate," Jeff says, smiling.
